Terms & Conditions for Quote Acceptance

By accepting this quotation, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Quote Validity
This quotation is valid for 14 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.

Acceptance of Quote
Acceptance of this quote confirms your agreement to proceed with the works as outlined, including all specifications, materials, and scope.

Key Definition – Commencement of Work

For this agreement, “work has commenced” includes but is not limited to:

  • Ordering of Materials, including posts, fittings or fabric.
  • Preparation of drawings, engineering or design work (including on-site measurements or digital overlay designs).
  • Commencement of fabrication or manufacturing, including cutting, welding, sewing, or assembly of any materials.

Once any of the above activities have commenced, the project is considered in progress.

Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit is required to proceed with fabrication or order processing.
  • Deposits may be refunded only if cancellation is requested before any work has commenced.
  • Once work has commenced, all deposits are strictly non-refundable.
  • Full payment is required upon completion of the installation.

Any refund requests are subject to review and approval and will be at the sole discretion of Sunshine Coast Shade Sails Pty Ltd.

Cancellations

  • Cancellation requests must be made via email through quotes@sunshinecoastshadesails.com.au.
  • If cancellation occurs after work has commenced, the client may be liable for:
    • Costs of materials already ordered.
    • Costs of design, administration for the propose job.
    • Fabrication or labour already completed or in-progress.
  • Sunshine Coast Shade Sails reserves the right to retain all or part of the deposit to cover these costs.

Lead Times

Estimated timeframes for fabrication and installation are subject to current workload, weather conditions, and material availability. Delays may occur and will be communicated where possible.

Council Approval

Where applicable, council approval remains the responsibility of the client. Sunshine Coast Shade Sails Pty Ltd is not responsible for obtaining approvals and will not be liable for any costs, delays, fines, or issues resulting from non-compliance.

Variations

Any changes to the agreed scope after acceptance may result in additional costs and revised timelines.

Site Access

The customer must provide full access to power, water and the site for the duration of the installation.

Warranty

Materials and workmanship are covered under manufacturer and company warranties, subject to proper use and maintenance.

DIY / Supply Only

For supply-only purchases, the client is responsible for all measurements, installation, and structural integrity. Sunshine Coast Shade Sails will not be liable for any issues resulting from incorrect measurements or installation.
