Project Details

We anchored these three driveway shade sails in Golden Beach at an angle to the wall with sail track to create some pitch for the shade sail to allow water runoff and optimal augmentation.

The colours are Black, Silver and Charcoal from Rainbow Shade z16, providing a striking and stylish contrast. Our sailmaker fabricated these sails to fit the area to the centimeter so that they can tensioned perfectly and will have minimal movement in winds. The perimeter is double-stitched with PTFE solar-balanced thread to guarantee the shade sail for 10-years.

	Structure:	Five 100 mm x 100 mm with a 4 mm wall steel posts and powder-coated in the Dulux colour "White Zeus"
	Hardware:	Sail track along the building side and 316 stainless steel turnbuckles, tensioning system and shackles

The corners of our shade sails are reinforced with nylon and polyester webbing and a steel cable is double-stitched into the perimeter to balance the tensioning.

316 STAINLESS STEEL

We use 316 ‘marine grade’ stainless steel hardware which is particularly suited for coastal locations for our roof and wall mounts, as well as the turnbuckles, shackles and eye bolts.
